To reset your phone:

1. End all calls and connections.
2. Select settings and restore factory sett. > settings only.
3. Type in the security code. (The default security code is 12345, If you forget the code and your phone is locked, your phone will require service. Additional charges may apply, and all the personal data in your phone may be deleted)

Note that performing hard reset on your Nokia Lumia 505 does not affect documents or files stored on your phone. After restoring the original settings, your phone switches off and then on again. This may take longer than usual.
